A friend, a geisha ... and Lady DjaDja !

A good friend of mine, Farah, asked me to draw her in the same style I've done my brother's caricature one ! Here is the final result ! And guess what, she liked it a lot :D

 I've also done this geisha, and her head is big on purpose :p

And finally, ladies and gentelmen !!!  Here is Ladyyy DjaDjaaaaa ! AKA Lady Gaga of course and since gaga and djadja have almost the same pronunciation and that "Djadja" in our algerian dialect means "chicken", well, I believe you understand the reason I made her look this way :D and who knows, maybe one day she'll dress up like that :D

A Return to the Beginning ... caricatures

Yep ! Caricatures were actually my first vocation, since I really sucked at a lot of drawing basics such as the body proportions and stuff ... So, caricatures were, for me, a way to express yourself or anything without being mocked  *o*

Anyway :p Here are some recent caricatures done with my tablet while while studying differnt styles and techniques !

Trying different styles ....

After several weeks of practicing with my tab, I decided to try a different style than the semi-realistic/manga one ! So I've done some chibi characters, some caricatures ... and you can see some improvements relating to the eyes/hair final results !

February ... A mounth full of practice.

Since the day I bought my tablet, I was practicing like a crazy !! I even had the guts to try different styles and adding different colors, let me show you some examples ! The last two are fanart of : Rafiq ( a character in "Victory Road" a manga by Sid-Ali Oudjane & Riadh Ait Hammou ), however, the 3d one is the way I've imagined the look of Pandaman ( of the manga One Piece ) the first time I read about him :)

Finally, a tablet !

Here is the first drawing that I've done with my new tablet, done last february.! I was proud of the result, but at the same time, I was kind of disappointed cause it wasn't really what I've got in my mind ...  

    

I've - once again - a blog !!

I's been a long time since I had a blog where I posted a lot of drawings, just for fun !! Now that the fun is mixed with more passion and a lot of seriousness, here I'm, back again ...

So, I'll do my best to put lot of intresting stuffs but I'm not promising anything though :D
